I did not move the beer to a keg for lagering this batch, but I will next time.
I also believe this process may have been drawn out too long, and I am going to attempt to shorten it using the Brulosophy method (http://brulosophy.com/methods/lager-method/) next time, as I believe it will turn out just as wonderful :)

Tasting
notes
I'm not really very good at this, but I'll give it a shot.

Taste was very clean, crisp. Good notes of toasted biscuit, pretzels, and a caramel undertone that isn't overpowering.

Smell is very mild. Bitterness is also present, but very crisp and not too overwhelming.

CreditsIcicle Brewing in Leavenworth, WA.

This recipe is based off a beer they made, that they abandoned the next year (and the head brewer gave me the recipe, which I changed slightly). They have actually started making the beer again using what appears to be a slightly different recipe, but the original plan for the beer came from them because my wife loved it so much when we tried it.

Original recipe is almost exactly as show above, but malts should be 98% Munich, 2% Carafa II.
