I'm hoping there is going to be an influx of new members, what with today being the "grand opening" and all. So, I figured that I would pre-emptively create a welcome thread. By all means, feel free to post here and say hi.
Welcome!

Hi everyone,
You may know me from reddit; anyway I've been homebrewing for about 10 years and have always loved making and drinking belgian/yeasty flavor driven beers. I started harvesting wild yeast 4 or so years ago and last year every beer I made was with various wild yeasts I had harvested and I have a feeling this will continue.
I've been looking for a new source of beer making discussion recently, so I hope this can be that place!

Welcome everyone!
Mutedog - if you do any kind of writing, I'd love to see a blog or forum post on your procedure for collecting and using wild yeast. It's something I've wanted to try, but just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Hello,
I've been brewing for a while off and on with small kids (8 years now) and am currently building my all grain setup and hope to have my first all grain brew day at the end of the month.
I really like the premise of the site/forum.

Hi All,
Not a big poster, but frequent /r/homebrewing, looks like an all-star list of charting members, excited to read and learn.
Cheers!

Hey!
I'm a brand new home brewer and (hopefully-not-too-much-longer) suffering Cubs fan. I'm excited to see this site come along on Reddit because since I started I've been looking for a place like this.
I'm about a day away from bottling my first full 5 gallon batch (citra dry-hopped IPA), so I'll post pictures and a description and probably ask how I can make it suck less in a couple of weeks.
