You can edit.  Go to my admin, manage recipes.

I can't seem to add any.  Are there instructions that I'm missing?

So, go to manage recipes and edit the recipe in question.

Go to hops.  You can click the "Add hop" link to add as many as you need.

Start typing the hop name in the name field, and it will auto complete for you.  Pick with mouse or arrow key.  If you try to free enter a hop - as opposed to picking one from the autofill - it will fail.  If you don't fill in the various other blanks, the recipe will be incomplete, so try to provide all needed info (email me for help if you need it).

You know, I've tried to free-enter all the hops.  That's probably the problem.  You know, I don't think the auto-complete is working for me.  "C"... "i"... "t"... nothing happens.  Problem with Chrome?  I'll try it out in another browser.

Edit:  No, I was just going to fast.  It works in Chrome.

That fixed it.  Gotta use the auto-complete, and I can type "Citra<tab>" faster than it works.  FYI, I'm quite certain there are orphaned records in the db related to the free-entered hops I tried to do.  The edit recipe page says, "Add another hop" even when it's showing none.

Thanks.  I think I might invest in a beer gun this month and send you some bottles of this to review.

Happy to help!  If there are orphans, I'm not too worried yet.  I have to run some cleanup scripts, anyway.

Hey, I/we would love to review your beer!

I was going to write a self-help book for web developers called, "Children of Logically Deleted Parents".  Never got around to it.  Too much legacy maintenance!  ;)
