I totally put BrewUnited as my homebrew club when I entered the Alabama Brew Off. That probably makes me lame, but since I don't have an actual club I'm part of, I figured... why not?

There is a club or two in Birmingham - actually, Carboy Junkies will be doing the overall BOS. But dude, I work two jobs and have six kids at home. I just can't seem to find the time to drive 30, 45 minutes one way to a meeting.

Can confirm this. Having been to Birmingham numerous times and yet to have a beer with the man. Although, we did go to see the Tuscaloosa Air Show. So, there is that.
