Last question......what day is the judging?  Looking at the weather in Fresno it will be cooling down after the weekend, but in time for the October 7 deadline.  I want my beer to have some time to settle in the bottle before judging begins.

Thanks!

There appears to be a bug in the recipe entry. It's changing the first hop addition to the qty from one of the malt values, or at least it appears so.

This is taking my 46% amarillo bill and making it 31%, but I'm sure for some recipes it could make them appear against the rules. Also, the submitter wouldn't know this unless they went back and double checked the recipe for some reason.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll look into this. If there are any questions, I will reach out to the recipe submitter.

So... I messed up my shipping. Sending them out today (ack). What time is the latest I can get the beers delivered to the shipping locations?

October 7th is the cutoff. What sites are you shipping to? Our site directors are pretty forgiving, but we have to let them know and see if they can work with you.

I can relate. Mine were supposed to ship yesterday, but some dumbass (me) forgot to print the labels last week at work. Doh.

Do we get scoring sheets after the divisional round, or we do have to wait until BOS round is completed as well?

Scoring sheets will be available after the Divisional round. They will be provided via downloadable PDF files online. Please realize that this is not an overnight process - the Divisional sites will ship the sheets to me, where I will scan them in, name the files, then upload them to the BU server.

It seems like last year, we had the files available within two weeks of judging.

We will have Divisional winners (1st, 2d, 3rd place for each style category, plus 1st,2nd, 3rd for each Divisions) announced on Monday the 17th, provided all judging is complete.

FedEx just boned me and delayed one of my packages, my American Beer Division entry. Looks like it got pushed until the 10th.

Luckily my other Beers have either already arrived or are arriving before tomorrow.

Oh, well.

The entire reason we have a week gap is to deal with shipping issues. Please forward me the ship delay notification - I will send it to the site director, and your beer will absolutely be accepted.

I dropped of my SMaSH entry in person yesterday, and sampled some great beers while I was there (Lost Rhino - the Octoberfest Marzen is outstanding).  My three divisional beers were scheduled to arrive today, but when I log into FedEx now I can't see them anymore.  I suppose that means they arrived...

Not a question, but whatever. With the results scheduled to be released next Monday I find myself looking forward to getting through a weekend and to Monday for the first time ever.
