Not sure if this is expected, but neither my American nor my Commonwealth entries seem to be functioning at the moment. IDs are 841, 842, and 843.

@thorrak  I've got the same thing going on with my American IPA (644) and Oatmeal Stout (645).  I would imagine they know.

Commonwealth arent working for anyone yet (not entered) and there was a batch of the American IPAs that arent working properly. I believe the other American scores are functioning fine.

I think Olan has been on a family vacation. Getting the results back a bit late seems to have hindered him getting everything entered and straightened out in time.

Wasn't trying to be a dick, just a little frustrated...

I get that this is the nature of the beast sometimes with things like this. I'm not particularly frustrated myself, but I think people are perfectly justified in being a tad frustrated here. We paid entry fees + shipping fees to have the beer judged. On the other hand, the people that executed the competition on the judging end did so in their own free time, and I know Olan invests a lot of time. How he does it I don't know, but he does it.

On 10/30 last year the winners were announced. On 12/10 last year I posted pictures on my facebook with my medal and whatnot. Probably either the day or the day after I got it. That's a tad over a month from time of announcement to prize packs being delivered. Not bad.

This year, the timeframe for winners was pushed back a little. Not much though, really. And the scores were announced around the same time for most. Score sheets though a month later and it still isn't situated yet. So I get it that people are frustrated. Hopefully Olan is having a nice vacation, gets home and knocks out all the things that need doing to successfully conclude the BU Challenge this year. I'd be a liar if I said this would dissuade me from doing it again next year, and I hope it doesn't chase others away. The only thing that'd do that to me is if prize packs just didn't go out, and I'm not concerned about that.

My response to this is to see what I can do to help with the competition next year - without preventing me from competing. :-)
I am grateful to those who volunteered their time. I do think that some of the administrative tasks can be overwhelming. I'm wondering if we can get on-line judging forms to automate that process?
Thanks again to Olan and all who helped with BUC 2016!

Good attitude Chal! Much of the problem here was out of Olan's hands.

Thanks! - Totally agree that Olan has done a great job and can't control everything.
2016 has had it's ups and downs for my family. Even with the delays, I consider this competition to be one of the high points of the year. It has given me the confidence to keep brewing and keep learning. I owe much of this to everyone who posts their opinions on this site.
I completely understand the frustration expressed by goosegrenade. I don't think anyone thinks he's being a dick.
As a group I know we can make it a even better next year.

I've been out of pocket - first on vacation, then tied up in holidays. I'm back now.

I'm waiting on one segment of sheets from the American Division judge, who has promised that I will have them this evening.

We are shipping prizes, more coming. We'll finally get a bow on this thing. Thank you all for your patience.

Thank you, Olan!  Does that mean the swag we ordered (shirts, stickers etc.) will be shipping soon too?

Hope you had a great holiday!
