I always fermented American ales at 64F with 007 when I was using it as my house yeast. D rest at 70.
I used 68-70 for British ales and was never happy with the ester profile, but I like my British ales kicking with esters.
I had another homebrewers British Golden Ale a few weeks ago and I think he said it was West Yorkshire yeast, and I guessed he had used mosaic hops, but it was all British hops. He thought it was a bit too fruity, I thought it was great.

why were you not happy with the ester profile? Not enough for you?

Yeah, attenuation was a little low. I think I'm gonna go with 025 if they have it, 051if not, 007 as a safety net.

That's the Anchor Liberty strain, probably the oldest craft IPA strain around
