Fermentation notes | I personally used yeast starter and a swamp cooler for my batch. I had to go out of town for work, while it fermented in the primary.. added ice to the swamp cooler when I came back a week later, then bottled once gravity remained constant..
Tasting notes | One of the most fun beers I've ever brewed, I personally think it's my best batch.. Very bright/clear taste.. really easy to drink on a warm/sunny day.. I had a few bottles that hid in the back of my fridge from a few months ago.. I think the yeast must have needed that time to settle.. when I poured it, the beer looked like it was cleared with gelatin.. I didn't use any sort of gelatin or irish moss, yet the clarity was amazing..
Credits | This is really my LHBS recipe, so I must give them credit.. they do have a loose definition of the recipe (different malts/yeasts you can use), but I am posting exactly what I used.. here is the link to the recipe they posted on their site: |
