Tried to go in and add a recipe to the recipes page, but when you click on the upload BeerXML, the page loads up blank (Header, ads, etc. all there). Tested via Chrome and IE, neither worked.

I get the same page when going to "My Admin" and then clicking on the "Manage Recipes" button.

Not sure if the content isn't there yet, or if it's a bug, but figured I would throw it out there in case it is supposed to be working.
Let me know if there's any other information you need to diagnose this!

Thanks for the report!  I still had security turned up on that feature (we didn't want people tinkering with it while we were in beta test); I have corrected this.

The "manage recipes" link should be blank unless you have successfully entered a recipe.

I was able to successfully upload a recipe using the BeerXML upload feature now, but even after uploading the recipe the Manage recipes page is still blank. Originally added the same recipe by hand after the BeerXML button didn't work, but it never showed up on the recipe page.

:D

Well, rats.  Permissions were wrong there, too.  This has been updated.  Sorry!

Not sure if the problem is the site or an issue with my xml file but I'm getting this when I try uploading a file:

  • Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /var/www/html/www.homebrewdad.com/process_xml.php on line 52

It's an issue with your file's structure.  This tells me that I need to add more graceful error trapping - i.e. "sorry, looks like your file has a formatting issue" as opposed to an ugly "FATAL ERROR" message.

Since the opening, we've had several beerXML files added.
