Hi all I  was asked about different ways of carbing your beers a while back, so I
decided to do a little experiment. I did a 5 gal. batch and split it in
two, then used DME for a priming sugar in one and Corn sugar in the
other bottled them and waited to see the result. Well it was very
interesting what I found. The DME beer had bigger bubbles in the head
and the retention of the DME head was very minimal to the Corn sugar I
used 2.77 oz. of DME and 2.08 oz. of corn sugar to set the desired
amount of Co2 for a brown ale see, photos and give me your thoughts.
