explosivo, I think that we're looking for a shorter name than those (half of those are not available, anyway), and I'm not sure that those give a great "community" feel.

That said, if enough people feel like you have found something better than the top two choices, I'm willing to discuss it.  Right now, I feel like you're not going to come close to breaking the top two, and you may be wasting your vote... but I'm open to dialogue.

Otherdave, I like brewocratic.  We had looked at similar names, but didn't find one available.

As I keep saying, I don't know that you'll find enough traction to come close to the top two.

Homebrew dad, how bout BREWTOPIA, The place where all things are home brew related.  If you choose to stick to the original two, I think a spin on brew united to brewers United is best.

Robert, I love brewtopia - it was on our early target list, but it's sadly not available.  Brewersunited is similarly not available - we checked.  :)

Man! Too late in the game to get all the good names! ={ Well crap. Guess I'll go vote for brewunited. Best sounding one out of the 2.

Could dig a bit in history and saga to come up with a name.

One of the many beer/mead saga's is where Thor 'steals' Hrymer's, one mile wide and deep, kettle (that sadly has no name) and brings it to sir's hall where gir, his wife and nin doughters brew beer/mead for a feast where, magically, no cup is ever empty.

aegirskettle.com aegirshall.com, hrymerskettle.com

a few more beer mythologies

Brad, it's amazing how many domain names are bought up by people hoping to one day turn their $10 investment into a multi thousand dollar sale.

Ingooni, I *love* mythology, but I'm not sure that those would make great fits for a community site's name.  I sincerely, do appreciate the feedback, though.

Might be hard to spell for some, but homebrewoasis.com seems to be available.

I really like Brewocratic.com

It's unique, a play on words, has a hidden meaning of a community.

What about brewing411.com or brewers411.com?

Yeah, that one is probably tough to spell - you'll have a fair amount of missed traffic off if it.

This stuff isn't as simple as it looks!

I love all the creativity that people are putting into new names here.

Winslow - that's the best 3rd option I've seen so far.  I don't think you're going to get enough traction to push it, but I do like it a lot.

Brad - I don't know that the 411 options are where we want to go.  I could see one for an instructional site, but not as much for a community.
