Working on a bread pudding for my wife right now.  It's not difficult, per se, but separating out nine freaking egg yolks is annoying.

Also, at her request, I'm making spaghetti tomorrow!  :)

I'm cooking, bro.  That's all.  Six week rule and all of that...

Love smoking with oak.. but hickory is really where it's at.

My mom used to make bread pudding.  I hate the stuff.

She should be happy when she gets home though.  Mowed the lawn today (to be fair, this is the first day it hasnt rained in fucking ever), and im cleaning the basement right now.  I mean, a lot of the issue was rings from buckets on the floor from a bit of blowoff and stuff, but overall my brewing stuff was kinda spread out down there.  Shes kinda mentioned it a couple times, though i know it bugged her a lot.  So yeah, woo.

Made another no sparge, 15 min boil batch today.  Smelled damn good again, and i pitched that Vermont Ale.  Ill be kegging as soon as its done, but im hopeful i dont have vinegar issues from that fruit fly.

It's not my favorite, but she loves it.  Same reason I made peach cobbler a couple of weeks ago - she likes it.  They both turned out pretty well.

Ok, I get it.

Brian makes multi course meals and dishes that I can't pronounce, and that makes him more of a man.

I make a few good dishes, try to make a dessert or two that my wife enjoys, and that makes me a girl.

Nah, it *was* funny.

And if I was concerned about my manhood, I wouldn't share my cooking stories.

That said, there will be no cobbler for Ray.

Lucky Ray.  I mean uh...

I cant say anything.  I just cleaned the basement so my mom will be happy when she comes home.  Actually looks pretty damn good down there right now.
