I'm sure there will be mediocre beer.  I'm sure there will be bad beer.|

I'm sure there will be great beer.

But I'm okay agreeing to disagree.

I'm stoked and super excited for the beers that come out of this comp. Every comp has bad/mediocre beer, there are just too many factors to avoid it.

But I think the community entering this one is going to come up with some awesome stuff. I really can't want to try them all.

OK, jumping in late. The limited ingredients are why it is a 'Challenge', no? My wife is absolutely tickled at the concept. It makes folks have to solve issues they don't often come up against. It's going to make me a better brewer by finding different ways to compensate for grains/hops that I don't have available to me. That's what makes THIS challenge/competition different.

Now, Dan, just quit sandbagging, fill out your registration, kick Derek's butt, and take home some SWAG! I'll drink any leftovers of your 'mediocre' beer..... Win/Win

I'll stop by and pick up the Award Winning Leftovers in October.....

BTW, I can produce mediocre beer without the help of a limited grain/hop bill.....

So there!

Fak.  I was going to order my hops yesterday so they'd be in the mail for the least amount of time possible.  I guess tonight should still be safe-ish.

Think its supposed to heat back up later this week, though :(
