Eyep. And we're not even close to done. I have four more "yes" answers from sponsors who simply haven't told me yet what they are planning to donate. None of these are small outfits, either... and I have others that have responded, just not made up their minds yet.
This prize list is gonna be NUTS.
Well, even more nuts.

From the list of sponsors that had told me "yes", but I just didn't know what they were doing yet, let's please welcome Adventures in Homebrewing, who will be donating six $25 gift certificates, as well as ten lanyard bottle openers (that come with an SRM chart).
All told, we're now at almost $6400 worth of prizes!

Our friends at HomeBrewSupply were overwhelmed by the positive response that we are getting across the board, and decided to sweeten their entry... besides that awesome 10 gallon kettle from Spike Brewing, they are now contributing three brand new ball lock kegs, as well as a $25 gift certificate.
Can you say SEVEN GRAND? That's where we now are in terms of sponsor contributions!

Is this amount in prizes typical of a competition? Last year's was the only one I've ever entered other than this year's.
Posted 34 days ago.
Not at all. Most competitions don't offer anything like the prizes we have.
Posted 34 days ago.
...and nobody else offers a CAPE...
Posted 34 days ago.
True that!
