So, a potential sponsor absolutely, positively, HAS to know the official name for our competition.  Before I go and slap some mundane label on it, does anyone have a good idea?

In all seriousness though:

I guess right now i'd say you should decide if this competition format is going to be recurring or not.  If it is something you plan on doing the same/similar formats with in the future, a bit more...'inclusive' name would be a good idea.  (inclusive meaning dont call it the 'great pale ale brewfest' if youre thinking about doing a stout competition in a similar manner next year, choose a name that can be reused.)

I'm thinking, right now, that this could absolutely be a yearly thing, with a similar format.  Change the approved ingredient list each year, but keep the basic idea the same; let people take a list of ingredients, but assemble them in a creative way to brew different beers.

Umm...

Dangit, Marshall.  you have an imagination like me.
