ABS just announced they're carrying Epiphany Malt based in Durham, NC.  So far, they've released a 2-row base, but they look to have caramel and roasted malts on the way.  They're also working on malting triticale, so that's pretty interesting.  It's not on the website yet, but ABS is saying the 2-row is $1.55/lb.

I noticed that Riverbend is completely missing from their site now.  I hope this doesn't mean they're gone entirely.  It's been so hard to source them.

I have a customer that uses triticale in his Kolsch. He really seems to like it, can't bring myself to do it.

Man, I keep wanting to try Riverbend, too.  I know that @vinpaysdoc went by their place not too long ago, and they were open and running - maybe they are getting out of the homebrew supply angle?

Riverbend supplies malt for Wicked Weed. Not much gets out for Homebrew. It's a small operation and Brian Simpson just needs investors to expand. The day we went by, Brian had just a little time to show us around. I'll keep asking his brother (a cyclist friend of mine in High Point) to bring me some to let Olan and I try.

I need to start a 'Bring HomeBrew Con to Asheville' campaign.....
