I was stoked to try this fresh IPA.  Poured a glass, it looks beautiful.  Smell is strong and unique; piney, resinous, dank, different.

The flavor.  Oh God, why?  Why would I want a mouthful of onions and garlic in a beer?  Why????

Summit overload, maybe?  Columbus?

You actually found a maggot in your beer? Seems to happen to everyone that writes a yeast starter calculator.

Theres a reason i dont use summit for anything but mild bittering at this point.

I tried making a summit beer.  Garlic/onion is all i ever fucking get if i use more than a half oz for bittering.

From what I've read it's at least somewhat taste subjective. Some people love Summit and others think it tastes like onion and garlic and is horrible.

All I get is raw garlic and onion.  It is one of the worst things I've ever put in my mouth. I've had infected beers that were way better.

Ive used it for bittering without much for issues that i remember, but thats like...a quarter to half oz in 5 gallons.

Whenever ive tried using it beyond 60 minutes it sucked.

For the record, it is very difficult to make a maggot gag. They have no fingers and very small mouths...

Dude, I think that onion/garlic soup would do the trick.
