I apologize in advance if this isn't the place to post this.. I figured homebrewers would also have an interest in commercial craft breweries.. and this really only applies to my home state..
It's recently come to my attention that there is an "Anti-Craft beer" bill on the floor of the Texas House.. if passed, this would force Texas craft breweries to use a 3-tier system of distribution if they produced more than 5,000 barrels of beer..
I personally think this can only stifle the growth and popularity of craft breweries in one of the largest states. The only motivation seems to be the representative proposing this bill has been given contributions and lobbied by distribution companies.
If you have any interest in craft breweries in Texas, please take the time to read this article and message your Representative.

Looks like this bill is being dumped like a bad batch of brew that it was! Thank God too, because Texas is just now getting it's brewing scene up and rolling after years of special interest laws keeping us back.
