Get Your Homebrewed Beer Reviewed!
Are you looking for honest, impartial feedback on your homebrewed beer? Are you tired of unhelpful comments like "it's good" or "reminds me of name commercial beer here"? If you're like me, you may not have many friends who are really into craft beer; they may not realize that "dark beer" isn't actually a style. Maybe you'd like to be sure that your beer is the focus, that you're not just one more beer out of forty that the judge has to sample that afternoon.
If this sounds like something that you would be interested in, drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. Send me a bottle of your beer, and I'll open it on camera and give it an honest review - on video. We'll feature your beer here on Homebrewdad.com, and if you'd like (and if I like the beer), I'll add the recipe to the recipe database here (giving you full credit, of course!).
Don't be intimidated - I'm not a beer snob, just a guy who enjoys tasty beer. Do note that I'm not a BJCP certified judge (though one day, I'd like to be). Thanks to three years working in a cabinet shop, I no longer have the sharpest sense of smell; likewise, I don't pretend to have the most sensitive palate east of the Mississippi. What I do promise is to give a thoughtful, thorough review with honest, positive criticism.
A final note - while I of course think that this could be a great way to bring traffic through this site, I would never consider using a contributor as clickbait. If there is a real problem (such as I experienced not long ago when sending one of my own beers off for a review), I will consult with you privately - I would never want to embarass anyone with a horrible review.
