Really excited to see this new resource for the homebrewing community!
I got my start in homebrewing around 20 years ago, when I helped my dad with his homebrew projects. I got back into the hobby towards the end of grad school with some friends, and once I moved to California got into the hobby in earnest. Over six years later, I'm still going strong!
I am about a year into all-grain brewing, and had a pretty successful run of extract brewing before that. As you might guess from the screen name, I'm a paleontologist! As a scientist, I love the challenge of formulating and creating something tasty! My personal goal is, above else, to brew a great beer, regardless of hoppiness or abv. I'm of course fond of a nice IPA, but have had some recent success with blonde ale, brown ale, and oatmeal stout.

Welcome to the mad house Andy! I've only been brewing about a year and a half. It has been a crash course after my son got me hooked.
