Had my first one last night, very nice hoppy aroma and flavor the 7.0% ABV is hidden well in the beer, mouth fell was delightful with a sweet after taste. Definitely will by again. cheers!

How bitter is it vs. How much hop flavor does it have? Is it more of an IPL?
I've found with the IPL's I've had that the smooth backbone of the lager just doesn't support the hop character enough.
Thanks for sharing.

I suppose that you don't see more hoppy lagers due to the lagering time? Though I don't see why you couldn't dryhop a lager...
OP, love that bottle opener!

Not to hijack this thread, but if you see anything by Jack's Abby, I'd recommend checking them out. They're a lager only brewery out of MA and have been doing some really great beers. Hoppy ones and non hoppy.

I had one of the BA Framinghammer's and was not impressed. It was lacking a certain something to back up all the flavors that were out front. I think it's that "ale" ester I've heard Nicole Erny talk about. Probably similar to how I feel about IPL's

I've bought like 3 cases of this beer now! It's got a great balance, in my opinion, and hides the 7% very very well. Also it's very affordable at ~$14 after tax for a case of 12!
