Hey guys,

This is Ray's MACC IPA, pitched yeast on Feb 7th, so its working on its second week.. I had to move the carboy to the closet, the fermentation chamber is currently being used for the Kolsch that I brewed this weekend..

I'm not overly concerned with most of the bubbles on the surface, but I did notice this little green raft this morning.. I still see a little small activity on the airlock, but not a whole lot.. I've never made an IPA, and the recipe calls for a bunch of hops.. I'm wondering if thats what this is, or if I need to be worried about my 2nd infection in a row.. Thoughts?

That looks like totally normal hop junk to me.

okay cool, I'm a little paranoid after my last infection.. I know how ugly fermentation can be, and usually air on the side of "it's fine..", but I just wanted to be sure..

chillax vato.

That beer is fucking great. Had a couple tonight.

Haven't seen Smithwicks, but might do your review tomorrow, without it.
