Let's do a fun topic.  What homebrew related gear is on your Christmas list this year?

I'm asking Santa for a new mini fridge - my yeast have been banished from the main kitchen fridge.  Brew Like a Monk is on the list.

I'm also hoping for some little odds and ends - a stainless aeration wand, some more silicone tubing, maybe a two gallon bucket or two... and of course, gift certificates to the LHBS are fantastic.

How about you?

Brulo, I hear you are looking to join the Brotherhood of Our Lord the Omega PHH-7011?

Malt and Yeast (books). Also want a NG hookup on my porch at the gas grill - quick connect. Santa may not be that kind though. Not having to deal with propane and having and endless supply of gas would be awesome. Hinted to the wife a few times already....

I asked for the Homebrewdad recommended ph meter, lots of better bottle carboys, and a few growlers to become my eternal Brett solera. I have so many brewing books to read. Time to finally start playing with water chemistry!

An electrician to wire my basement, and a plumber to install a giant sink!

Realistically, I left myself a label maker, BBB, and will renew my AHA membership and BYO.

I asked for more Mason jars to put yeast in, and some pounds of Hops.

I need various odds and ends, but I'll just buy them with gift cards after Christmas.

I'd like a house with a basement to turn into the beer lair.

Realistically, I'm getting brewing books. Already got Brewing With Wheat from the BIL, so that's a good start.

Couple more faucets and shanks(have 3, built keezer for 5), more pinlocks(have 4, want 6-8 total), jaded chiller, 14gallon kettle, some hops pounds.

Won't get it all mind you, but having a long list let's me still get surprised ;)

A 5L flask for large starters, and a ph meter.  And if Santa thought I was really good, a large fridge to store my growing beer collection.

So my immediate family does a small Christmas before our big family gathering, and I got a few brewing related things:

  • For the Love of Hops
  • Brew Like a Monk
  • My mother jokingly wrapped my new kettle, which I ordered from the AIH holiday sale. Very excited to be able to make six gallons and split each batch to try different yeasts.
  • Vacuum sealer so I could start buying bulk hops.
  • I think my dad and I are going to run to the local homebrew shop (I put a starter kit together for him) and I'll probably finally grab that other fermenter for sours.
So honestly, pretty happy this with year. I'll probably pick up a pH meter as well.
