Hey guys - thanks for the input.  I will consider it, and incorporate/ignore as usual.  :)

Emphasis on the ignore :P

You know what would be interesting Olan? If you didn't do a decoction. That would actually be an experiment for you. Do something different!

If you start decocting IPA's I'm going to drive to B'ham and slap you :P

Mike, I like the New Belgium sampler a lot better this season. They have a Kolsch and what they call a Kellerweiss... both fantastic. And obviously the Pale Ale... and I don't remember what the last one was, an IPA maybe?

I don't mind a good large-commercial seasonal sampler every now and then!

It's the Nooner Pils, which is really damn tasty too. I'll probably pick up a 12 pack on my way home tonight, perfect BBQ/swim mix pack.

I was going to joke about Olan decocting a pilsner or something lol

I almost thought about getting that one the other night too, Kevin.  Might just do that.  if nothing else i should get a few bottles of moon man, which i fucking love.  Too bad i dont like spotted cow...which i assume they'll have in there.

Isn't there traditional basis for decocting a pilsner?

IPA FTW.

Maybe, but you'd quad decoct and boil down far enough to caramelize it or some shit.

I have no opinion on decoction, since I've never, and likely will never, bother.

Caramel Pilsner? Ugh. Gross. Keep it crisp and dry IMO.

YES! Nooner pils is the last, which is also fantastic. That's a really nice sampler pack.

So, call it something else.  Caralager.  A brand new style.
