Hell I've found you don't even need to lift the bag at all if you don't want to. If you really want, take your mash paddle (or brewin spoon) and wedge it between the valve and bag. Push it back as much as you can and you both squeeze and clear the valve of bag material that could slow the flow.

Once it slows down, tilt and keep the spoon or paddle wedged like that and you're good to go.
