So, you have brewed an amazing beer that you would like feedback on, but there's not a competition handy.  Or, you feel like your beer is close, but lacking in some small aspect, and you want an honest critique from someone who knows more than where to find the best deal on Natty Lite.

Why not have it reviewed by the BrewUnited.com staff?

Here's the deal.  First off, please email us at [email protected].   One of us will be in contact with you.

To get a review, you will need to create a recipe entry here on the site for your beer.  You will be responsible for shipping your beer to the designated "judge".

We will write an honest, thoughtful review of your beer, which will be posted here for discussion - and the recipe will then receive a star rating and review text.  We will also fill out a BJCP scoresheet for the beer, which we will share.

Understand, some of us are BJCP judges, some are merely experienced home brewers and beer enthusiasts.  We promise to be polite and respectful, but we likewise promise to be honest in our critique.

We strive to review all such beers within a week of receipt.

Any questions?  Thoughts?  Post them here.

I love this idea! Want to review your own beer, well my version of it? Cause that's all I have, other than the Brulosopher's Best Brown, that will be ready soon.

Hey Brad!

I know for a fact that the Charter Members are just really interesting in trying the great homebrews out there! It is really about honest critique and community, this sort of stuff helps us all grow.

I do think that if you brew a beer that was designed by someone else, it would be awesome if you sent them one to try!

Hey, I'd love to review a beer brewed from a recipe I've made.  I've done this once before - it was really interesting to pour that guy's bottle and mine side by side to taste them.  It was really surprising how different they turned out!

@homebrewdad - I am willing to send you some of my Temptress/Enchantress that I recently brewed.. I'll admit it might not have come out as red as I was hoping, maybe there was something about my process that was off and you can help me out with it.. I will email you my info..

Sweet! Then once it's bottled and carbed up I will shoot you an email. I don't do any water treatments at all so we will see how it turns out compared to yours!

I'll review anything.  I definitely don't sweeten the review at all - you won't get a BJCP scoresheet, but I'll tell you everything I sense that's going on.

I'm game to taste too. Just about any style.

You should add this at the top or something so we can find it in the future. If I ever brew up another good batch I'll send some in, definitely. Funny how all my good batches disappear so quickly, though...

Want some of my sour vomit cider?

I get the sense that a few of you are in the same general area... is this true? Maybe a panel review?

I like the idea. I go down to Olan's neck of the woods to visit my sons on occasion. I'd love to sit in with a couple of the others and taste through some homebrews.
