Been putting this off since the first round kicked my hiney back in Feb...
What random and ridiculous (sometimes) questions! But I passed... onto getting scheduled into a tasting test.

Congratulations! I've been looking into this, but man, the tasting tests never seem to be that close to me.

Congrats! I've heard its a pretty tough exam.. We really need a registered BJCP judge at my local brew club, I just know it's going to be a lot tougher than just "doing it".. good luck on the tasting exam!

Austin? Hah!
"Hi, honey! I'm off for a day or so to go take a test!" That will go over well. :P

Ate tonight at a little known restaurant run by a Top Chef... Deconstructed fried chicken and waffles, in a sweet potato pur©e. Wife had fish and chip cooked perfectly, and the "malt vinegar" was a sour beer. Seriously amazingly! Dessert was a peanut butter s'mores, done in a little mason jar, marshmallow crisped like a cream br»l©e. Started with a Kwak in the bubble bottom glass, did the desert with a spicy Rye whiskey Manhattan with a sour black cherry. Incredible deal for the price. The restaurant name will cost you... It's secret till it ain't! :)
Restored my faith in this crazy boom town!
