Cool! Thanks for the link. My "current" IPAs have lost most of their aroma since they've been in the bottles for almost a month now. Maybe my next batch of IPA or even this Belgian Pale Ale that's currently fermenting will be worthy.

Edit: Also didn't notice that you responded 4 days ago. How is that email enabled notification system coming :) ? Sorry, I'm impatient. Terrible hobby for being impatient.

turdeckenpillow, I'm right there with ya on waiting until the next batch for a review on this one.  Batch #2 just slowed down big time on activity.  Waiting another day or so to throw in the Amarillo hops for dry-hopping.

Ok, I made two more batches of this stuff, the recent two with 2 different waters.  BUT, what I left out of the recipe on page 1, was the 8 ounces of malto-dextrin that I used.  Now, on batch number 2 I left it out, on 3 I put it back in.  There's definitely a difference in how sweet the two are.  Is that the factor there?

Oh, yes.  Maltodextrin will definitely add sweetness.

Thought so.  So I guess the ones who loved the slight sweetness will be disappointed with batch 2.  I'll have to decide which one to send to the fella in California to review for the site.
