Just taught i'd say hello.
New to the forum. I was looking up recipes all grain and just happened to see this forum. I love the way the recipes are not just add this n that ...the comments about how to brew them tips ect are excellent.

I have been home brewing the last 4 years so i'm new and have been working in large Dublin brewery since i was an apprentice 18 years.

Cheers.

Welcome, we're glad to have you!  Thanks for the kind words on the recipes; a lot of thought went into the design of that area.

A large Dublin brewery, eh?  So you know that commercial brewing isn't quite the romantic picture that we homebrewers tend to paint it.

Well if I was a homebrewer first I think id imagine a magical place that everyone smiles and walks around in shorts dipping temp probes into mash tanks and the odd shoval of hops into a boil vessel

But alas commercial means automation and least amount of people possible so you could go a day without seeing a grain or drop of wort.

I'm guessing a micro brewery would be the place to get hands on but in a micro brewery you cant afford to pay the rent so !
