I love this yeast so much. You get some nice English esters from it, but also get amazing attenuation.

Now granted, I did include a pound of table sugar in my seven gallon batch of Christmas beer... but still, this yeast took it from 1.076 down to 1.009. Considering that a fuzz over 20% of my grain bill consisted of c malts, that's amazing.

And yet, that's super typical. I always see ~1.008 in my Thundersmoke brown, which starts at 1.057.

Eyep. 1.008 at 72 degrees F, temp corrected, that's 1.009.
