Guys, we don't want to make things more expensive than they have to be. Feel free to ship multiples in the same box (provided they go to the same judging site), just make sure to label them correctly.

Thank you!  That saves me ~$30 that can go towards more hops and ingredients.

I skimmed through the Q&A and didn't see an answer to my question.

I got a vial of Leeuwenhoek Saison Yeast Blend from the White Labs vault. Would it be within the rules to use this yeast blend to brew in the Saison category.

Sorry, if this has already been answered.

From what I can tell, this blend is fully European in origin; therefore, it would be legal.

There's no requirement for our beers to be bottle carbonated, right?  There's a fair bit of lingo in the rules about priming sugars, but it seems like that's just there in the event you go that route.

Nope, force carbonated is perfectly fine. The verbiage for priming sugars is to keep the playing field as level as possible - it feels unfair to count priming sugar against the ingredient limit for bottle conditioners.

Sorry for re-asking this question, but for the beer xml - is that something we send you over email? Is there a button to upload it and I'm not seeing it? Do we still need to manually enter a copy of the recipe on the submission page?

Thanks!

As of right now, the browser-based method is the only option. I will try to get the beerXML up and working by the end of the weekend.

I just checked and saw that the delivery location for the SMaSH division is Lost Rhino in Ashburn, VA.  I drive past there every day so that makes shipping easy!  It's also kind of cool to me since I did my American IPA with their house yeast, it turned out fantastic!
