Is the Shipping and Bottle Label info updated?

All my recipes show Status as Ready, but I get the following message when I click on shipping info:

Sorry, you have used an invalid link; no entry was found. Please check the link and try again.

Also a broken link when I click on bottle label.

Disregard this post, if the links are not yet active.

They should indeed be active. Drop me an email at [email protected] and we'll get the issue handled.

For recipe submission (this answer is probably obvious, but want to double-check), obviously color and IBU is based on recipe, but if some of our quantities wound up varying, like post-boil volume, OG, etc., you want actual values right? Not recipe values?

I think I had a pretty good run-on sentence in there.

Actual values would be preferred, but it's not the end of the world either way. What we care most about is that you follow the rules in recipe formulation.

In looking up shipping quotes using FedEx to the SMaSH delivery location, it tells me that they can't deliver to that area.  Is anyone else experiencing this?  If you aren't using FedEx, who are you using?

Edit: USPS' will do it, but who knows if it will work.  If anyone is willing to be a 3rd party shipper for FedEx if need be, I'll send you some Ocean Vodka swag, then I'll head down to Maui Brewing and get some swag from my friends down there for you too (and pay shipping costs from your location).

I live near the delivery location for the SMASH division.  I'm surprised FedEx won't deliver there, it's in an industrial park.  I will be dropping my entry off in person, and am willing to take others if needed.

Why should recipes have actual values when the target is in the original recipe? I've never heard this before.

It really truly does not matter so much to me. I've heard people want to know the final, but to Chino's point... the recipe is what you followed. If it turned out a bit different, that's fine.

@davidg Did you mean UPS?  I've always heard it's illegal to ship alcohol via USPS.

For hops, is it required to give AA / IBU?  I only ask because some of my recipes have done some really oddball stuff (after saving then going back and reviewing) like show ounces that I didn't enter, showing "0" for AA, not changing the AA value to what I enter when I save and go look at it again.  Just want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong that's causing this.  Thanks.

Those numbers are nice to have, but not required. You do have to enter the weight, so we can verify that you follow the 25% rule. If you have issues with a recipe, shoot me an email - I'll be happy to help.
